Since 2003 the museum has been located in the converted Elias church, Senefelderstraße, Prenzlauer Berg. Since then, the museum has contributed significantly towards transforming the Helmholtzplatz into a lively and child-friendly district. The museum has two floors and the former church tower, where the exhibitions are situated. There are several permanent exhibitions such as the museum’s SoapShop, PrintingPress and MirrorCabinet, a stage with a seating area for around 1oo visitors and a FamilyCafé. Most importantly, there is room for two to three interchanging exhibitions per year.
In addition, the Museum’s team continuously works towards creating new opportunities and activities oft crafts & arts, which relate to the current exhibition. In collaboration with artists we offer creative workshops and we also hold children’s birthday parties here in the museum.
